Consultant Modelling

Are you a problem solver and a team player? Imagine this: you design advanced software that helps organizations improve themselves and work more efficiently. As our Consultant Modelling, you play a key role in creating smart planning solutions. You use your analytical skills to build unique, sector-specific applications that make a real impact. Plus, you learn and grow in an innovative team that believes in your potential. Sounds good? Keep reading!

Who are we?

As Anago’ers, we make an impact on the lives of those around us every day. We’re not just a standard IT organization; we’re an enthusiastic team of over 55 curious, mainly beta experts. We assist organizations in the public domain with advanced software to better align their processes with the needs of citizens. And that has a positive impact on society as a whole!

With our smart software solutions, we elevate the planning maturity of organizations to a higher level. For example, asylum seekers get clarity about their future more quickly (customer: IND), children in disadvantaged neighborhoods receive earlier preventive care (customer: Youth Healthcare), and we contribute to better quality education.

What will you do?

At Anago, you start as a Consultant Modelling with our dynamic Young Professional Program. In two months, you’ll learn the ins and outs of Anago Assemble, our self-developed no-code development platform, and develop essential (soft) skills. Eventually, you’ll become an Assemble modeling expert. After this orientation period, you’ll step into practice:

  • Daily routine: Your day starts at a time that suits you with coffee or tea (at home or in the office). There’s at least one team day a week when the whole team comes to the office. With your project team, you have a daily stand-up to determine priorities and catch up. Throughout the week, you’ll be engaged in a variety of tasks such as designing, building, and testing new features or improvements.
  • Design & Development: You’ll work with your colleagues to develop (parts of) planning applications for different clients or a specific sector. This involves creating a technical design; first writing a test plan, then developing and documenting the functionality. You’ll see your work reflected at the client’s site soon!
  • Interaction & Support: In addition to development tasks, you’ll answer customer questions that come in via our ticketing system or phone. You’ll assist customers, evaluate urgent matters, and collaborate with colleagues on solutions. By being in direct contact with the customer, you’ll also receive quick feedback on what you’ve created from the customer.
  • Collaboration & Growth: You’ll typically work in teams of three consultants, being attached to the same client or sector for a longer period. This offers the opportunity to really get to know clients and continuously improve their applications. You’ll test each other’s work and share findings, just as you’ll present your own developed features. This contributes to knowledge development within the team, and you’ll be constantly learning. You’ll quickly assume a lot of responsibility, allowing you to learn a great deal.

An example of functionality at a client:

  • For a government agency’s application, you’ll work on a strategic layer on top of the operational planning in the application. You’ll roughly sketch a model schema to capture your initial ideas, so you can work with colleagues to detail the customer’s requirements.

Who are you?

  • An analytical starter with a university degree in a quantitative field (such as Econometrics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics/Physics, Technical Business Administration).
  • Creative in finding new solutions.
  • Precise, structured, and always ready for a challenge.
  • A team player.
  • Interested in technology and how things work.

What can you expect from us?

  • Salary of €3150 for a starter.
  • We’re proud of our company culture; we all know each other, and our jointly provided lunches and numerous company outings contribute to this. Our consultancy team is close-knit. In our weekly team meeting, we celebrate successes, and we’ve turned giving compliments into a creative ball pit game (feel free to ask for details), and we also regularly play online games or table football, where everyone is competitive.
  • We all work for one mission; a better citizen experience. We’re all aligned because we want to make an impact on society.
  • A flexible organization; which means good ideas can be quickly picked up, and the path to the right people is short. There are also plenty of opportunities to organize your day flexibly and work from home.
  • Various client teams; we work in teams of 3-5 colleagues for a client. You work for different clients/sectors and therefore also with many different colleagues within the Platform Apps team, from whom you can learn. Because our organization is relatively small, you not only know your team well but also colleagues from other departments.
  • We work within walking distance of Den Bosch station in a completely renovated office. If you want to work partly from home, you’ll be provided with a full home office setup.
  • Furthermore, you can expect the following employment conditions from us:
    • 26 vacation days with the possibility to buy 6 additional days or 13 ATV days, and you can flexibly use public holidays on days that are considered holidays for you.
    • A personal training budget (3% of the combined annual salary).
    • Travel allowance (full reimbursement for public transport and €0.23 per km if you come by car or bike).
    • Pension is fully paid by us.
    • Team excusrion, sports activities, and drinks!
