At HCM Medical we are currently working on setting up a new production process for the production of collagen based medical devices. This is an existing process, however, on a small scale. In order to produce large quantities, we face new challenges and need to find new technologies. Upscaling and optimising this process comprise designing and constructing extra clean rooms that include freeze-dry, pulverise, mix, homogenise, mill and centrifuge technologies.
You will be working on a plan for the construction of these facilities. You are also involved in testing new techniques using our biomaterial in order to select the best suited equipment. We look for someone who can plan and guide the construction of this “collagen factory”, including the selection of the right technologies/machines. In short, this project is focused on the development of the production process and facilities, rather than the development of the medical device itself.
Does this project match your background and are you interested?
