The Market Logistics of Mars in the Netherlands is responsible for the efficient logistics and the best customer service of both pet food and chocolate for our Dutch – and from 2021 also international travel retail customers. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who want to participate and collaborate with us in one of our supply chain teams

On the supply side of our business the VEG factory logistics team ensures Data quality, and efficient Inbound and Outbound flows. The planning of Inbound raw material and packaging ensure our factory has can produce 24-7, whereas the HUB outbound team manages truck and container loads to over 100 countries across the globe. Our data management officers are ensuring our quality master data for our systems. Within one of these teams we always have the opportunity for you to cooperate and learn on the job. Your mission:

• Closely working together with associates in one of the market supply chain teams of your interest (inbound, outbound, physical logistics, supply)
• Dealing with ad hoc challenges which require problem solving thinking
• Participate within project teams in order to drive efficiencies within Mars’ Supply Chain
• Learn and develop yourself in an international environment with a global oriented supply chain

Your Profile:

• Student at hbo or wo, focused on Supply Chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering & Management Science
• Someone who is motivated, representative and energetic
• Action oriented, hands on mentality
• A good command of the Dutch and English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Power BI is an advantage
• Experience in a similar internship or in the FMCG industry is an advantage
• Available for at least 6 months, for a minimum of 4 days a week
