BSc Industrial Engineering and Management
Industrial Engineering is an English-taught program in which you learn to look at a business process from the perspectives of people, technology and organization. Analyzing and optimizing a business process are central aspects to this. The process is mapped out using modeling techniques.
MSc Innovation Management
The master Innovation Management encompasses the management of innovation processes and contains theories, resources and techniques to make companies and entrepreneurs more innovative and successful in their activities. Important aspects here are new product development, strategic marketing, sales and after-sales service management, business intelligence, open innovation and entrepreneurship.
MSc Operations Management & Logistics
The master Operations Management and Logistics encompasses multiple disciplines such as product development, quality management, logistics, information systems and human resource management. Students learn how to analyze the current operational performance of an organization, how to explain this in terms of quality, cost and time, and how to improve performance by reviewing business processes.
Industria’s goal is to fulfill the needs of Industrial Engineering students in the broadest definition possible. Currently, we try to meet our goals by taking care of the following: Support our students in studying Industrial Engineering; allow students to organize activities through which they can gain useful skills, knowledge, or experience; Help students in orienting on the job market; Integration between the different Industrial Engineering students.
The association is subdivided into four pillars: Study, Career, International and Leisure. Industria strives to organize high-quality activities to fill up these four pillars. Both organizing these activities and participating in these activities is a valuable addition to the student’s curriculum.
Industrial Engineering students of all year-layers organize the activities of Industria. At the moment we have about 250 students who are involved in organizing various activities in committees. This leads to 37 committees being active within Industria.
