Are you looking for a traineeship where you can truly make a difference? Then the Management Traineeship at DPD is for you! We offer you a unique start to your career.
As a Management Trainee at DPD, you will go through a challenging two-year, partly international program. With this extensive program, you get to know the organization from the inside out and understand it well from the customer’s perspective. You will work on four ambitious business cases, each lasting about six months, within different core parts of the organization. Operations, Projects, or maybe Sales?
Everything is possible. Additionally, you will go through one of these business cases in one of the other DPD organizations in Europe. How cool is that!
At DPD, you have the freedom to bring your ideas to life and achieve results. During this program, you will work at operational, tactical, and strategic levels, and your business cases will genuinely contribute to our success. Optimizing processes, bringing structure, and taking on exciting projects in all possible departments of DPD. You have the freedom to determine your direction. In each phase of the program, you become a full-fledged member of the department and are guided by a direct supervisor. We also provide coaching and numerous training opportunities so you can develop into a full-fledged professional and lay a good foundation for the next step within DPD, such as a role as a project manager or another management position.
You will work in an informal, diverse, and no-nonsense organization. Ambition, customer promise, and sustainability are central, and we value entrepreneurship. If you have a healthy dose of courage, are ambitious, eager to learn, and quickly navigate a new and rapidly changing environment, then sign up quickly!
If you are selected, you will receive an invitation for one of the selection days on June 1 and 2, 2023. On one of these days, you will come to the DPD headquarters in Oirschot along with other trainees. We present DPD, and you present yourself through a pitch, undergo an interview, and solve a challenging case. Afterward, you will quickly find out if you have become the new Management Trainee of DPD Netherlands.
The moment when the delivery person rings the doorbell with a package is always a highlight. Our mission is the daily global delivery of millions of packages to happy recipients. We do this within Geopost, with around 122,000 dedicated employees. DPD Netherlands is part of the international Geopost, which is directly related to the French Groupe La Poste. As the largest parcel sender in Europe, we ship to more than 230 countries, and within Europe, we send packages from our own network and depots. This allows us to deliver a unique performance, reaching 700 kilometers in one day from Eindhoven!
DPD Netherlands has 12 branches, and our headquarters are located in Oirschot. Every day, our employees work to fulfill the customer promise. Behind the delivery of packages, there is an impressive process. Our culture is characterized by a can-do mentality. We not only like to handle packages but also challenges. The atmosphere in our organization is informal, and communication lines are short, just like our delivery times.
Innovation and sustainability are central themes in DPD’s strategy. We take responsibility, both towards our customers and colleagues, and the society in which we live. We continuously optimize our processes and services, driven by data and innovation. We place great value on collaboration to achieve our goals.
